ban a user from a particular thread

Just another quick question related to this. When a user is banned, is there a way to show them a custom page rather than the "you have been banned" message?

I assume you're referring to a full ban, independent to the reply ban stuff you were asking about earlier? If so, no; it just uses the standard "error" page with the ban message.

No, viewing permissions don't extend to individual threads.

How can you tell who has been banned from a thread. How do you lift a ban (if you decide to)?
