AXIVO Review

Hi all,

I finally finished the site conversion entirely to XenForo.
AXIVO is a community focused primarily on Linux and Red Hat based distribution knowledge.

Let me know if you find something out of order, thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for the reminder LOL, I forgot to ban hotmail and outlook. :D
On previous forum, I used to get a ton of daily spam from those 2 email services... should I ban them or not?

I don't use a hotmail or outlook account, it's my own domain using their services ;)

I see, that is nice. :)
I think they marked the email as spam because it is sent from an OVH server, which they used to be known for their high number of spammers.

Just signed up. Initial e-mail went into Spam using Outlook.com
I'm finding even with DKIM, SPF and DMARC defined, my emails to hotmail/outlook end up going to spam. Every tool I've checked show I've got it set up right, my messages are shown as signed and have RDNS pointing at that server. I'm tempted to just set up another VPS to do nothing but mail for my forums/domains.

@Tracy Perry, I use Google Apps for Domain and the emails are signed properly in my Bind configuration... still he had issues.
Code:
# dig -t TXT axivo.com +short | grep spf
"v=spf1 a:axivo.com include:_spf.google.com ~all"

Go figure on Microsoft side, meh:
Authentication-Results: hotmail.com; spf=pass

It should not end in Spam.

Now, I see no comments about the website? :giggle:

You talking to two technical geeks about website instead of the core understructure? :D
I'll hit it up here in a minute and check it out... especially since I just kicked this VPS online.

Problem is... there is no outbound gateway. That server sends direct. :cautious::X3:
Now it's getting a time-out error.

On a related note... like the site but I'm not a big fan of that much blue.
For me, blue has been done to death and I like to see something a little different (but I'm a fine one to talk, my Linux site is basically black/gray, white and orange with a smattering of other colors in it.

I probably misunderstand what you are trying to do... please open a new thread into Server Configuration, or else people will think we bump this thread in purpose. :D

Thank you for the comments, I appreciate it... finally a review. :)
I would appreciate if others members will express their opinion also.

I really like what you are doing with the resources, and the uni-formality of the layout / structure of them.

Theme wise, I don't mind all the blue, but then again, I'm used to being on here quite a bit, so feels really familiar.
