AWStats dropped since I upgraded to 1.2.2

My AWStats daily visitors stats have dropped by 20% since I've upgraded to XF 1.2.2 BUT my Google Analytics stats have increased by 10-15% since 1.2.2

Why? Anyone having the same problem?

Forget AWStats. One of the problem with AWStats & unique visitors is that many folks under the same IP are only counted once. See http://productforums.google.com/for...to-your-accounts-reports-and-data/hwx43EVkDcM

Use either Google Analaytics or the free alternative Piwik.

I don,t want to forget about awstats. NAT addresses are counted in the visitors stats and only once in the unique visitors stats.

Google Analytics uses cookies on the client while awstats counts visits who connects with ValidHTTPCode = 200 304
