Lack of interest Avoiding Double Posting

Sometimes users end up posting two messages in a row within the same thread. Whether these messages are accidentally identical or not I think that it's quite annoying for a moderator to edit or delete a certain message.

It would be cool to have an option that if checked asks for some sort of confirmation when a user is about to post two messages in a row within the same thread.

If the user posted "A" and is now attempting to post "B" it'd be cool if the user were given the option to edit the previous message. Of course "B" should automatically be added, within the editor, to the end of "A", in this way we are sure that the user will not have to rewrite anything.

What do you think?

There are two add-ons addressing that problem.

One which denies the post, if the exact same post was made by the same user within the last minutes.

And another one, which combines 2 or more consecutive posts by the same member into one single post.
