XF 2.2 Avatar resolution

We have moved a forum from vBulletin to XF. After it is up and running, I notice the avatars are pixelating a little. Is this a result of the import or does it relate to the image the user originally posted?

Is there a place/way to control the resolution of the avatar images? Tried searcing the ACP but drawing a blank

There are no built in controls with regards to avatars.

The sizes and quality are fixed in code.

I would just recommend advising members to upload new better quality images.

384x384 or a multiple of that would be ideal.
