I ran a board on Xenforo before it shut down and I've recently decided to use my license for a forum project.
Back in the day, our avatars looked like this:
We had it to where you could upload an avatar that was 200x300 pixels and it simply cropped the image instead of resizing it in the messages (postbit?) area.
I was just wondering how I would achieve this again? I was never able to figure out how I did it before, and I've been mulling over it for quite some time...
I found this, but it's not quite what I'd like, since it's nice to have the huge 200x300 avatar in the profile but the smaller avatar in the messages. It ends up mushing up my avatar and making it look squished.
