As designed Avatar changes without selecting "OK"

When selecting Avatar from the user name drop down menu (next to inbox)

If you upload an avatar then the new avatar is set before clicking OK
(click cancel and you still get the uploaded avatar)

I believe this was reported once before, but it is the designed behavior - we upload the avatar as soon as you pick a file. The ok button confirms other changes (such as x-y positioning or use of a Gravatar).
