XF 1.5 Automatically Apply Promotions for Inactive Users?

Hello,

I was just wondering if it is at all possible to move users to a user group automatically if they have been inactive for a certain amount of time (say a year)?

Worth noting that the promotion system only works on recently active users, so just adding a criteria for this wouldn't help. It'd likely need to be done as something specific to this usage.

Instead of a promotion, you can do it manually using the batch update users feature and searching for the specific criteria you want. If you did it every 3 to 6 months or so you'd be fairly well on top of it.

The cron only runs for a few hours after a user has visited. It will also run when a user revisits (when they create a new session).
