"Auto Welcome" Message for new members?

I'm manually handwriting new members messages. Is there a way to automate this process as soon as they sign up?

As all the welcome pm mods are in the archive does anyone know a version that works with the latest XF software?

Have a look at my mod. It is compatible with the latest version of xenforo.
