The resource manager is best for submitting own resources, but not so much for foreign ones. There are many free and open source applications with licenses that allow to share them by anyone. For moral (and for some cases legal) reasons to avoid pretending to be the author of one's work I suggest 2 things:
1) Include an alias for the author of a resource, including the ability to link the name with the author's website.
2) Make MiniMes removable.
This allows the usage of the resource manager like a classic downloads manager.
