There should be a clear indication when the staff changes the status of a resource (marking as unmaintained or deleting for example) as opposed to when the resource creator changes the status. They aren't equivalent events, and it's misleading to see a post attributed to the resource author noting the change when in fact it was a staff action.
To be clear, this applies to my RM on TAZ, the one here on XenForo.com, and everyone else's. Its not meant to be a specific comment about this site in particular.
