XF 2.0 Attachments as Full Image

Hi...just upgraded to Xenforo 2.0. Noticed a quirk with attachments. For all the old posts migrated that had attachments inserted as full images, now both the full image and thumbnail appear.

For new posts this is not a problem (inserting a full image does not show the thumbnail). It is just all the old posts that show full image and thumbnail.

Any way to fix this?

How recent is "just upgraded"?

There is a background task that runs after the upgrade that resolves this. The length of time it takes will vary based on the size of your site, the number of posts with attachments, your server speed, and how busy the forum is.

Upgraded over 12 hours ago. Any way to see the status of the background task?

Unfortunately no, though you can run it manually in the foreground using the "Rebuild post embed metadata" rebuild under tools > rebuild caches. Make sure the "attachments" option stays selected.

Thank you. I rebuilt the cache and it cleaned it up.
