XF 1.1 Attachment Premissions

I keep getting an error trying to upload an attachment. I have set permissions for 777 for my attachments folder but I'm still getting errors?

That's an error that's likely coming from the web server itself. You'll need to look at the Apache error log (or contact your host) for more details.

Just a quick thought... but you also set the permissions as 777 for all sub-folders under /data and /internal_data also, correct?

I have done this and I still get the error.

OK, then you ruled that out (the most common problem) so @Mike is probably spot on, it is something to do with the host (maybe mod_security).

Hey everyone. It took me a few hours but come to find out I was missing my cron.php file. But it's all fixed now. Thanks for the help everyone.

You run a file health check to see if anything else is missing?

Yes I did cron.php was the only missing file.
