I would really like it if, when I make a new post on the forum, I could choose from the media that has already been uploaded so that I don't have to upload a new file again. This will save disk space, and other users can use the same image and repost it on the forum, eliminating the need to upload it again and again. We have the URL option, but it's a lot more work than simply being able to select the image from a small gallery of attached images from other posts.
My suggestion is that Xenforo could have this option similar to what Wordpress does. With the images already on our hosting, we would have less work in having to optimize the image before uploading too.
A good example is that I made a post on a node restricted to the public. So I wanted to take some of the images that were already there and reuse them in a new post.
The problem with reusing them is that I have to keep getting the URL of each of the images. I just wanted to select what has already been uploaded in an easy way. I don't know if it would be better to have an "Attachment Gallery" button or add this functionality within the Insert Image button. But here's my suggestion. It would make it much easier to avoid having multiple duplicate images uploaded to the server.
