XF 2.2 Attach files don't work, except through text editor

Got an odd problem where we can't upload an image using the normal "Attach files" button at the bottom left the posting area.

However, apparently we can attached images using the text editor "Insert image" function.

Could you please advise?

Did you give permission to upload files with jpg etc. extension as an attachment?

It most likely a modsec setting on the server. You'll need to contact your host. You can also try opening the browser console usually f12 to see what error may appear.

Thanks for the reply - what would I need changing, please?

EDIT: All suddenly back to normal. Looks like the hosting company has already made the change. Thank you again for the replies.
