Not a bug Article expanded view not marking as new in forum view list

Expanded layout is not making thread titles as new in forum view.
I marked the forum read lat night. HYS forum has new posts. Click into it, nothing is bold.
That makes them impossible to find here on XF because of the sort by creation date sort. Because you have to scroll until you see bold, and they never are.

The thread titles are not emboldened.

New content is denoted by the orange badge.

It's bold in New Posts and What's New so there's an inconsistency, also it goes against the logic of the forum as we know it. Can it be bold? Or do I need a suggestion for an inconsistency? Thx

The display is basically that of a post so the "new" marking is representative of that.

I can understand the argument with the bold element, though I don't think there is anywhere where we do anything like that with block level header styling so I'd argue that would be inconsistent in a different way.

Right but it's in forum view. Oh well it was not intuitive to me in forum view. I scroll land look at titles.
