Are reportings anonymous?

Hello..I just want to ask: on a Xenforo forum, when a user reports a violation from a user, does staff see the user's name of the reporter?

Or does the staff just see an anonymous reporting?

reports are not anonymous. staff can see who reported. there is an option to send alert on what action was taken.
