Api key

Hello, I only have one question left before buying a license

It is about the api key. I want a program to connect to my forum via the API key. I come from vbulletin and there the api is easily generated.

In Xenforo I have seen several threads but by my level of English I do not understand them.

This seems to be alluding to using plugins to generate the API:

I do not know if there are several APIs for each task or just one.

Does it mean that to get the KEY API I need to install a plugin, or do I need to validate the license? Or is not the same "License Validation API" as "API key"?

This is something custom to this site, and is used to verify a customer's license entitlement. It is not relevant.

There is no API feature built into XF, so it would require an add-on.
