XF 2.3 API for Resource Details?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to have some sort of API for my site that allows others to access information specifically the last update date for each resource, resource version, resource short description, icon, and other resource related info.

Is this available by default in XenForo, or does it require custom development?

The endpoint is not properly documented, but the REST API would allow for this. You'd need to supply an API key though. A guest key would likely be ok, just be sure to select minimal scopes (resource:read).

That sounds too complex, can't I have something simple and public like this instead for example
https://api.myvector.xyz/resources.json

Or is that the same thing?

That's pretty much what the API would give you. Disabling the requirement for an API key would require an add-on, albeit a pretty simple one.
