It seems you are retired and have nothing else better to do here and on many other forums to ***** and complain about anything you can
Yes to retired... and not really "*****ing"... more like missing the days that there were a lot more folks GIVING help to those that are asking for it.... Seems you aren't one of those that tend to offer much help (or at least looking at your posting history somewhat supports that).
I really don't give a flying crap if the XF developers provide support in the forum or not... I have ticket support for that IF I need it...
WHAT I am referencing is the fewer and fewer number of license holders that are helping with the peer->peer support. Is it burnout because of lack of forward movement in the script and those license holders that used to provide support are choosing to do something else now? Is it simply because those that have historically provided peer->peer support are more active in other pursuits?
I know in my case... as I get older, I have less time on this planet... so I'm naturally going to be more concerned with efficient use of my time, and prefer that use benefit me. Whereas in the past I would be willing to work with someone for several days on something... I now prefer to spend that time doing something for me.
If you look carefully... you will see there are a VERY few number of people that are actively helping others on the forum.
MySiteGuy, Xon, DigitalPoint and such are usually around... along with a few others... but back a few years ago we had a LOT more that provided peer->peer assistance.
You feel entitled because you paid for a license
No, but I do expect certain things from a paid script, just as I do with ANY paid software.
But I'm not directly referencing ANYTHING to do with XenForo... but the sad point that there are fewer and fewer people that are willing to take the time to offer help here. It's beginning to look like the old IPS support site (4.3 days) where there were a VERY few that actually helped other license holders, the majority of the members being simple site managers and not true site admins.
Users like you should be on FB, go ***** there.
And how about taking up that "help other license holders" mantle instead of posting frequent inane drivel instead?
