I tried their free plan, preferred Cloudflare. The $19 personal plan looks to be much less feature packed than Cloudflare's pro plan too.

I use Incapsula DDoS Protection for my client. So far so good. They always email me daily threat/thread alert.

CDN mostly. To speed the site up. Our time to first byte is over 500ms. I want to try and get that down.
