XF 1.3 Any easy way to make header not fixed in height

I want to put banners of different height and my own menu in the header that differs in height depending on screen resolution. Now you have to set a logo height and everything depends on that.

I have solved the problem by putting the logo, banner and menu in PAGE_CONTAINER but that means it loads first and not last as with header.

Anyone having a better solution?
