IMO the USA hasn't been the world's most powerful economy for a very long time.

Looking at the raw numbers, it has been it for more than 100 years and it still is.

However, it looks like it's coming to an end sooner than most would think.

well, countries are going bancrupt because their stupid politicians had the idea of paying the losses of reckless banks speculating with peoples hard-earned money like in a casino.
It is not just Europe, the United States and UK are practically bancrupt countries as well.

Governments are printing money as long as they will find trees for producing this paper-money. Beware of holding money in "cash", as cash will be worthless sooner rather than later.

World Bank was a great idea for America after WWII, but America has abused their plans too much.
