An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.

Seem to be getting the above error 2-3 times a day for 5-10 minutes. Nothing in any error log.

Your probably not gonna want to hear this, but disable all mods for 24 hrs and see if you get the same issue.

Enable debug mode and look in both the console and the network trace (I'm assuming this is an ajax request). You could also search for the phrase and edit the file (not highly recommended) to log certain data whenever it's called.

We hardly have any. Most of them are custom with the exception of some performance enhancers.

Anything, the entire site just blows down at random points throughout the day.

When it's happening, you can enable debug mode to get a more specific error. But normally something would be logged in the control panel for this sort of error.
