i'm suddenly getting this error, what could be wrong?

Never mind, it just solved itself.

If you are having random errors such as that then speak to your host.

This error may have been hiding another error. I would reupload the files because it appears that at least one is missing.

I suspect you had a DB connection error which triggered this.
