Amazon Associates and XenForo

Hi Guy,

I am not sure if this is the correct board to post on so excuse me if not.

I am wondering if anyone is running any good examples of XenForo and utilising Amazon Associates and primarily how best to integrate Amazon Associates/affiliation links into an active board?

I've seen the following so far:

1. Link changing so that an amazon.com links are auto updated to include affiliate ID
2. Product shop containing amazon products

What else can I do?

Are there any good banner addons for this kind of thing? or other top tips to maximise amazon clicks from visitors?

Any high traffic forum examples or demos of how people are maximising Amazon Associates within XenForo would be of great help!

You could use the mobile popover as well.

And perhaps create native shopping ads to display related content on threads.

thanks m1ne, yeah I am just trying to sort out shopping ads/banners.

Any ideas how I can do the mobile thing? I am on XF1.5

In the Associates dashboard, go to Product Linking > Mobile Popover

At the bottom, there is a small javascript snippet. Paste that in the page_container template just before </body>

Came here from a Google search....

Amazon keeps rejecting my form and I have zero idea why. This last time, they let me run for about 30 days and then hit me with yet another "violating terms of service because I'm a forum"....which makes absolutely no sense.

Amazon Associates not allowing use of online forum

Twice I've applied and got shut down by Amazon. I cannot find where we can't use an online forum. "web site url" you listed is an online forum. This is in violation of our Program Policies, found here: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/help/operating/policies.
