For 1 of my forum pages I want to prevent regular people from posting to the forum yet allow Admins and Moderators to post. I have the "Allow new messages to be posted in this forum" but then I cant allow Admins to post their either.

Is there anyway to remedy this with my desired outcome?
    Thanks in advance.

    Use the Permissions Analyzer.

All you need to do is revoke posting for the registered user group and allow it for the administrative and moderating groups.

I may not be explaining my wish well enough.

I want a section of my forum (say "News") to allow only admins and mods to post, yet allow registered users to view it. I know how to allow them to view it but I need to restrict registered users from posting in a specific section.

EDIT: The only "Node Analyzer" informs me of is that the person can see the forum.

    I understood what you want.

Revoke posting for the registered user group and allow it for the administrative and moderating groups.
