Allow videos to be viewed as videos and not a pic of a camera

Whenever i post up a video of my cat doing something cute it always comes up as a video camera image in the media viewer table. Is there anyway of allowing videos to be shown just like they are on the cloud?

Is there a setting i've missed or do we have to add some code?

Have you tested it here? Also how are you trying to embed it, as a link or attachment?

Yep.
I upload via an attatchment.

Have found that I can change the thumbnail from the weird camera to an image that i'm after.
But i would like to be able to do this automatically.

Have checked for Ffmpeg settings and commands as well.
