Under admin.php?options/groups/attachments/#allowVideoUploads
the following option is unchecked [ ] Allow video/audio uploads with maximum file size
However, I noticed on the editor toolbar, if you click the final triple-dot menu, then video icon appears on 4-item menu that has horizontal line, video, spoiler, and code
If video/audio uploads are disabled, shouldn't the video upload (drop video (or click here)) editor button not be shown?
Under all usergroups I have "Upload video/audio to posts" set as No (yellow)
(I don't want to host video or audio directly; I want members to use vimeo or youtube to embed video files)
Added: I have media gallery; All usergroups have video permission in media gallery "all upload video to album" set to off and under admin.php?options/groups/xfmg/#xfmgVideoExtensions Allowed video extensions and Allowed audio extensions are both blank (all video and audio extensions removed)
If I click on the editor toolbar, triple dot menu at the end, Insert Video icon it allows me to select
All supported types (mp4, mov, ogv, webm)
MP4 Video mp4
video/quicktime mov
Ogg Video ogv
Web Media Video webm
from windows explorer to upload, but if I upload a test.mp4 file, it then gives an error:
Oops! We ran into some problems.
The uploaded file does not have an allowed extension. The following extensions are allowed: (and it lists my image, not video, extensions here)
What option am I missing to disable this video icon in the editor toolbar, or why is it appearing when I thought I had direct video attachments disabled?
