The purpose of this mod is to allow Administrators to give permission to specific users or usergroups to have the option to use HTML in their posts. By default vBulletin only allows you to allow HTML by forum, and then it is allowed in the entire forum. This mod gives total control by allowing the option per post.

It is a great advantage to Administrators and perhaps other trusted users to be able to post using real HTML. For one some videos can't be embedded in a page any other way. In addition to videos there are games and puzzles you might want to embed.

Besides being able to choose by bother userid and/or usergroup you can also choose to disable quoting of HTML posts. This is a nice feature because when someone who doesn't have permission to post HTML quotes an HTML post the code in their quote won't render. This will prevent someone quoting "ugly" code. They can of course still reply to the post, just not with a quote, if this option is enabled.
