Alert disappears when hitting the "Back"-button of my browser

So when I just receive a new "Alert", then hitting the "Back-button" of my browser, then the "Alert" disappears.
So I need to refresh the page in order to see the "Alert" again.

Is there a way the Alert keeps showing, even when hitting the Browser-Back-button ?

You could force the web browser not to cache any content. I can't promise your web server won't be reduced to a smoldering heap though.

I am actually irritated by pages that reload without my permission. Sometimes I want to view the page as it looked when I loaded it.

Aren't the alerts still there whether or not they're lit up? (Just press the alerts button to see them?)
