The owner of a XenForo 2.3.12 forum that I do tech support for accidentally deleted a large sub-forum containing tens of thousands of posts over the period of several years. I restored a MySQL database backup from the evening prior, rolling the forum back about eleven hours. I ran a XenForo file check, everything checked out. Everything seems to work fine. However, there is one minor issue. Since the database restore, there's a delay in alerts. If there should be a notification alert, there's nothing, until you either refresh the page or go to a new page. Also, one of the add-ons we use puts up a pop-up when you first load the site... but that no longer triggers until you go to a second page or refresh the main page. We do use LiteSpeed as the web server, so I briefly considered a cache issue, but this issue didn't exist until after the database was restored, and the pop-up doesn't show at the very first loading of the web page even on an incognito window where there would be no cache.
