After SMF import all links are "broken"

I say "broken" because they are there.. But they're not links until you edit your message (just click edit) and save again.

Example before edit:


After edit the link works.

How do the links appear in the database or when editing a post and toggling the editor into bb code mode?

My guess is they aren't wrapped in URL bb codes and are therefore being rendered as plain text.

Editing the post causes the URL tags to be added, which resolves it.

You are correct about them not being wrapped in bbcode.
Also about that editing fixes them, problem is that I have 10s of thousands of urls, I can't edit them all manually.
