XF 1.4 Ads showing on error pages?

I might be wrong but I remember that the devs configured XF so no ads will be shown on error pages... but I have added ads code in the template ad_below_top_breadcrumb and now when I try to access to https://xenforo.com/community/account/news-feed as a guest then I'm displayed an error page (because I need to be logged in), however the ads is still being displayed!

Is this normal?

There is no code to exclude ads from error pages.
