XF 2.2 Admin email?

Just setting up my first forum and I'd like the option for members to be able to send an email to admin@forumsite name. For one particular issue/request. I tried sending an email to admin@mywebsite and it failed to deliver.

Is there something I need to do to set up email in my xenforo forum or on the server?
My shared hosting includes email for my domain. So I would set that up through their email system, not Xenforo, then set it as the admin email for Xenforo in ACP. As it is, we set up a GMail during startup and have continued to use that out of habit, though I've been contemplating changing it.
