XF 1.1 Admin CP blank after installing language

After a fresh XF install, I moved on with language installation. But, during cache rebuild there was unfortunately a hiccup and the browser window during rebuild was forced to close. After that happened, the admin cp is all blank, but the forum still works.

How to fix that? Do I need to reinstall everything?

Edit: the title should read 'blank' instead of black...

You can just go to <url>/install/ and rebuild the master data from there.
