admin area prompts multiple times for password

When I am in the admin area for each new page I visit there I am redirected to the "enter your password" area. Once I submit it I am redirected to the right page. It is really a #$%&% I switched servers today.

I assume cookies are enabled in your browser?

Hmm... of course DNS problems can arise from a server move but that is temporary. Maybe try restarting your computer to force an update of your local DNS cache.

If the problem persists then I can take a look if you give me access.

ISTR a previous thread with this issue where .htaccess was the problem. Throwing it into the mix "just in case".

I've had this happen to me a couple times over the past few days and just thought it was me fumbling my long password. Any recent changes on your systems? I just upgraded kernel and PHP.

My APC restarted every minute. My server management team solved it: "APC looks like it is going to work if php is running as DSO instead of fastcgi. I have it set to DSO right now, and it looks like everything is working for APC."
