XF 1.4 Address Link via Google-Map in Membercard ?

I have just added an address to my "Membercard" here at XenForo for testing.

Please click on the address mentioned at my Membercard which links to Google-Map.


You will notice that it does not show the address nor the location at Google-Maps.
It shows the map of the USA when clicking the link.


Was there a recent change in Google-Maps which is not reflected in XF ?

It worked for me when I clicked on it on my Nexus 7 tablet.

did it actually show the specific location immediately on the map or did you have to click the "address suggestion" which Google is displaying in their map-searchbox ?

It works fine with my location if you bring up my member card. It also works with many others' locations.

Tested this with the location in my membercard on my site. Worked as expected, showed the correct location on Google Maps and no suggesions either.

I have seen this bug on several instances.

it works fine when you just enter a "City name" and a "Country name", e.g.:

Berlin, Germany


2)
it does NOT work correctly when you enter a "Street Name", e.g.: something like this:

Messedamm 22, 14055 Berlin, Germany
Messedamm 22, Berlin, Germany




Is there a way to fix this ?

Maybe move this thread into bugs, so @Mike can have a look.

It's just a link to Google Maps with the value pre-entered. How Google handles it is entirely up to them.

If I recall correctly the value needs to comply to standards.
