XF 1.4 Adding/removing widgets to sidebar

Hi, can anyone tell me how to add/remove widgets from the sidebar? Thanks for any help!

If by widgets you mean content blocks, then at the most basic level you edit the template.

Otherwise there is a widget add-on you may be interested in.

More specifically I am trying to add the user status widget that i see on most pages. Is this something that has to be done directly through the template? I'll look into the add-on now. Thank you!

Do you mean the profile post block?

If so, use the ACP search and enter 'profile posts', then click on the option and set the amount required.
