Adding a new menu tab

I would like to add a new tab in the area that has the Home, forums, members, help tabs.

How do I go about doing this?

Best you use the "nodes as tabs" Addon from the Resources Manager.
Very easy.

If you want your own custom tab then I recommend this addon:

You can use this addon with link-forums to create external links as tabs.

Or you can use a template edit, but I prefer the addon method:
