Apologies if this is already a known issue, or if an add-on for this exists; but it would be nice if there was an Alert system on the Admin Panel Add-ons page which checked and reported back when there was an update add-ons.
At present I check here for alerts and receive emails, but I can't think that as elegant as a flashing light next to the add--on wanting attention.
Dismissible, of course.
