XF 1.4 ad_below_first_message

I'm noticing when I put content in the ad_below_first_message template, nothing appears underneath the first post in a thread. Trying to figure out if there's a tag missing in the template but I'm curious to know if someone can point me in the right direction on this, and where this might be located so I can reinstate it if it got deleted. When ever I edit the "ad_below_first_message" nothing appears, so I obviously removed it somehow in whatever template it's attached in.

There isn't an ad_below_first_message template in the default software.

Is that a custom template or something from an add-on?

Then that explains it. I must have added that when I first installed it after having to recently restore the default templates and then re-customize it.

Where within the thread_view template would you add that so it appears only beneath the first post?

Use the ad_message_below template and a conditional statement to apply to to the first post.
