is xF known for adding brand new features that have only been on the internet a few months?
Gee I hope +1 doesn't go away in the next 6 months like so many other google inventions..

Google doesn't seem to want this to go away so easily, because its integrated into the search pages. And google themselves says that they're interested in making this particular button be part of their entire search algorithm.

My suggestion would be to use an "all in one" service like addthis or the numerous other scripts out there like that, or for that matter, why not code one in house and make it exclusive to xF forums.

I disagree with that. In fact, I stopped using AddThis/ShareThis buttons a long time ago... because I feel that they're not useful. The other part is having to log in to check this and that...

The difference between google's integrated login system, and Sharing services, is that the sharing services websites only look at sharing exclusively, google looks at everything.
