    After doing an import last week one of our custom user fields ended up in the about you bit in the personal details, is there anyway of mass deleting the about you bit as its not really used and everything else is perfect.

    You can just delete that user field:

    Admin CP -> Users -> Custom User Fields

    Click the deny.png .

    hi Jake,

    my custom field got imported into the 'about you' which is not in custom user fields, maybe my first post was not clear enough.

    So what I have is the 'about you' showing an old custom user field and the about us, the old custom user field is not a the admin bit to delete.

    Oh. Run this query on your database to empty that field for all users:

    UPDATE xf_user_profile
    SET about = '';
    Skylined likes this.
