If you are editing the navigation template then just move your tab among the code for the other tabs to reposition it.

If the "CustomTab" is from an addon then it will be represented by the extraTabs blocks in that template.

How are those tabs implemented? Are they from addons or direct template edits?

Is the "link tab" from this addon by chance?

This addon has two options which allow you to control the tab order within a nav position:

Admin CP -> Home -> Options -> Nodes As Tabs -> Force Order *

Admin CP -> Applications -> Display Node Tree -> [click your node] -> Tab Position
