XF 2.1 About moving threads

When I give someone a user group that has moderator powers over a specific forum, why can they move the threads within to any other forum? I want it limited to the forums they actually have mod in. How do I do that?

Go to forums -> nodes -> add moderator

You can set the moderator on a per node basis that way.

I want to do it per user group though, so I don't have to manually do it for every single user every time I want to give/revoke access.

User group permissions are global, they aren't restricted to specific nodes. For that you have to set permissions on a per node basis.
