Implemented Ability to Control Date and Time Format

Unless I'm missing something, there is no option to change this.

Anyway, I think it would be nice if the following things were added:
  • A global date and time format option in the Admin CP.
  • In Your Account, add fields that would allow users to write in the date and time format they prefer to use.

Thoughts?

Date and time format is set per language in the ACP.

Well, I mean, for example, XenForo has the date as Feb 1, 2013. Some users may want Feb. 1, 2013 (notice the period since it's an abbreviation), February 1, 2013, 2/1/2013, etc.

Is that what you're talking about in regards to languages?

Also, some users may want to use a custom date and time format and not the forum's default.

Yes.

Click on the language to see the settings.

Thanks, Brogan.

I also work on a vBulletin site, which has date format controlled in both the Language Manager and via options in a section specifically made for the date and time, and I only use the latter, so I thought something was missing here.
