XF 2.3 A few questions, if I may.

My site right now is ccrb.community.forum it's super basic, but I want to say a big thank you to the community as a whole you've all been very helpful and I'm figuring it out as I go along.

1: Is there any way to make it so that a simple yes or no verification window pops up to age gate the entire forum, before even an unregistered can see anything?

2: Is there any way to copy and paste or essentially mimic the entire forum as I've created it... and am I able to quickly duplicate it for another state/province?

3. I understand that there are some add-ons available. I am using the Xen Cloud (which was active in literally 10 minutes it was impressive)... how do I go about using these add ons, or installing? Is everything at an additional cost or are there any must have ad ons that you would suggest to me.

It's a review board, ideally I'd love to have a live chat window if possible... any items that would help host community that you have experience with.

Any feedback is welcome.

Not really.
You can enforce acceptance of the terms and rules, which can include something about age, but that only applies to registered members.

You would take a backup of the current site (database and files) and use that to do a duplicate installation.
For Cloud we would do that for you.

Third party add-ons are installed via the ACP at admin.php?add-ons/ .
You can post in the add-on threads for any help with using them.

If you want help with the core add-ons -- Media Gallery, Resource Manager, and Enhanced Search -- there are dedicated forums for those:

I've set minimum age to 19 for registration, and removed most all view/read/write abilities from unregistered profile.. when you mention enforcing acceptance, is this what you mean?

If I were to allow certain forums to be viewed by anyone, including unregistered, would it skirt my registration criteria as I have it listed above?

Ok so it's possible... but would this mean additional licenses, or it's just XF will do it for me?

Thank you so much!

Yes. There is no authentication/verification for guests (non-registered). I am guessing you want something like all the p0rn sites have now that asks non-registered visitors to click a button saying they are 18+? That would be an add-on for Xenforo, I am pretty sure.

In Canada Cannabis is illegal for anyone under 19 to consume. They're not even allowed to see the physical products or pictures of physical products. I have to do my due diligence to make sure they can't just click on the forum and go at it.

Having them click a button, or in my case having them register is the only way they can see anything, I'm doing my DD seeing I can't police people but it does help avoid a few key issues.

Yeah, so exactly the same as what the p0rn people are doing. As I said, that's add-on territory.

Very crass... there are a multitude of industries that use this. Amazing your mind keeps going there do you speak from your experience? I don't care what "the p0rn people are doing" get your head out of the gutter and stay on point.

I am. It's a clear analogy from something I know about.
