XF 1.2 500 errors because of too many processes

How do I minimize the processes on the forum? My host was saying that i need to improve my forums catching. I'm in shared hosting.

I've followed this post:

It's made my forum considerably faster but I'm still receiving errors.

How large/active is your forum?

Have you considered switching hosts or upgrading?

It's not that big... About 70 active users a day.

In which case I would definitely look at other hosts.

I was on shared hosting with many more users than that without issue.

Is 25 processes at a time not enough for xenforo?

There's at least 6 completely unique users hitting the script within the same second - I suspect you'd find that would be busier than even XenForo.com. If that's not your normal traffic pattern, it could be a burst from being listed on a big site or it could be something like an attack pointed at your forum; you'd likely need to trace through your web server logs for more information.

Now I'm getting 403 errors throughout my website, what the hell is going on.. :\

It may be that your host has blocked access. As mentioned before, it may be time to consider a different one.
