4Chan sues the UK

4CHAN sues the UK government over free speech and interent access. I don't know much about 4CHAN but wondering how this will affect current UK cyber regulations and laws if 4CHAN is successful. Nevertheless, is this a notable event?

I believe 4chan is fighting a fine levied by Ofcom. As the case is being brought in the US I don't imagine a ruling either way will have any real effect on the UK's Online Safety Act or on the requirement to pay the fine. In any case as far as I am aware the only way a US judgement can be enforced in the UK is to issue new proceedings in a UK court.
